i4's support of the CarieScan technology included development of their more advanced "plus" product providing enhanced data management, graphical display and communication to peripheral devices.
From the outset the product was styled to sit comfortably in a medical environment, whilst being sealed from and compatible with liquids and solvents used in practice.
i4 took the underlying concept and using dfm and dfa principles radically repackaged the internals to create a contemporary look and feel that was optimised for rapid assembly.
